Always Sunny Season 4 BD - Blu-ray Forum

I was watching Always Sunny and there was a commercial for season 4. At the end it said "Available today on DVD and Blu-ray"
That would be a deffinate buy for me but I cannot find any info on it. Can someone point me in the right direction?

It is an advertising error. Season 4 was only announced and released on DVD. but fret not.

For Fox and FX Networks are bringing It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: It's A Very Sunny Christmas to DVD and Blu-ray Disc this November. So you can get your Sunny fix in fulll 1080p and in glorious DTS-HD MA 5.1 sound.

Yeah if season 4 was out on Blu-ray or coming out I would have waited, but it's only the one coming out in November that is. But I read that season 5 will be on both.

Did you guys see that clip from the X-mas special of Charlie and Santa at the mall? Hilarious stuff. Can't wait for it!

Actually Season 4 was supposed to be released on Blu Ray, pre order was up for mid August, but then taken down.

Actually, Sunny Season 4 was never announced for blu-ray, that was an erroneous listing on Amazon. Also, the show was shot on SD digial video cameras in 4:3. What would be the point of putting them on blu-ray if they're not even high def?

This season seems to at least be broadcasting in 16:9, though it still looks like it's originating from a standard def digital video source.
