There are teeny-tiny PAL and Dolby Digital logos on the front (plus it being linked to Studio S) which makes me hold off any pre-order at this time. Newly remastered or not, if this turns out to be a lossy sound and 1080i50Hz affair then I'm not biting.

I'm fairly certain those are part of the credit block that one needs to include on the cover.

Still, past BDs courtesy of Rapid Stream Media haven't exactly been generous with lossless audio. Quite the opposite actually. They tend to issue more DVDs and seems like they don't want to go the extra mile with the few BDs they do release.

Awful awful blu-ray. The master is obviously old and sourced for HDTV and looks rough and 1080i'ish. Don't get me wrong, it's HD, but just barely. No DTS sound.

Also.. is there a reputable place that ships Nordic releases to the US? Last edited by RickWJ324; 02-10-2017 at 07:41 PM. |

Thanks for the screens. Only thing I can say is at least it's better than the non-anamorphic North American DVD I have. ![]() If I order this, it might finally take the "Worst Quality Blu-Ray in My Collection" title away from The Family Man. :P |

Anyone have information on the German release that just came out?
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/An-Am...lu-ray/182117/ Specifically, region-coding, but any other issues we should be aware of? Caps-a-holic has it up. http://www.caps-a-holic.com/c.php?d1...2=10536&c=4220 Looks overly processed, but not terrible. |

What's most interesting about those screen comparisons is much of a giant leap it is over the DVD, yet how processed it looks in comparison to a film-like grainy transfer. I may upgrade it just so that I can watch the film without the murky DVD transfer.
