Default Ever watched half a movie on DD and realize you are missing out on Lossless?
I haven't seen a thread on this before but last night I was watching Blade Runner which is on of my favourite blu-rays and enjoying it on my Kuro(what a difference btw).

I was enjoying things but sort of wasn't blown away by the sound like I remembered. It turned out that I had DD 5.1 selected instead of Lossless!! I flipped over and what a difference.

I have also done it a few times in Dark Knight as that doesn't automatically go to Lossless.

Anyone else found they missed out by doing that? I wonder how many people aren't getting the best sound that don't know what to select.

COME ON BLU-RAY companies!! Start defaulting to lossless.
