Default Should I or shouldn't I ?

I know this isn't a BD question which is why I'm putting it under General Discussion, but it is a High Def one.

Best Buy, Circuit City and Crutchfield are selling the 46" Sony BRAVIA XBR2 really cheap. However, I know the new BRAVIA XBR4 is coming out soon and features HDMI v1.3. Am I really going to notice a difference between the 2? Will the 1.3 be that much better? I also just read on Engadget HD that Samsung has some new sets coming out. Money is no object. I can afford the XBR2 right now, but will save more cash if the XBR4 is worth it.

I don't think anyone can answer this question but yourself. I ask myself why I didn't wait for the new DLP model to come out. I was able to get 6 months of HD from not waiting. BTW, the price of my set fell by half in those 6 months.

I love my XBR3 46", you'll be very impressed with that TV. By what I've heard the v1.3 is not that much of a difference. I guess to some it would be, but not the average person. Supports deep color and such, but trust me, its an excellent tv and you won't be disappointed. The biggest complaint I've heard from people is the clouding issue which is easily resolved by turning on the light sensor built into the tv.

I may as well have made this thread myself.

All this high quality high def has had me start feeling that upgraditis itch a little bit.

I love my 34XBR960, but who are we kidding here? I'd love to have a bigger screen.

I want to see what this next batch of SXRD's end up being like...

Between E3 and this distant idea...my wallet feels serious pain.
