Default Upgrading to Blu Ray from SD: noob

I currently have an SD DVD set up which consists of a Marantz SR8200 non-HDMI receiver and a Marantz DV8300 universal DVD/SACD/DVD-A player connected to a Sony XBR 36" 4:3 ratio tube/CRT. I've been more than pleased with the performace of the Marantz equipment and I am considering the SR8002 reciever to replace my old one. On the Blu-Ray player front, I'm looking at the BD8002, which has the Realta processor for upconversion of my existing library as I buy Blu-Ray replacement titles. Now, there are other cheaper models from Marantz, like the BD7004, that have the Anchor Bay processor. I keep hearing the Realta is the best? Is it really that much better? Is it night and day?

With regard to the new audio technologies offered in Blu-Ray, Dolby TrueHD and dts-HD Master Audio, are they strickly through HDMI?

I should think I would be able to keep my universal player for SACD/DVD-A titles as I use the multi-channel analog inputs on the receiver for that as well as just using the component video for displaying the track listing/stereo-MC options.

Thanks!
