whats wrong with this tv - Blu-ray Forum

My mom wanted to watch tv in her room. I was about to put in the samsung ln52650 for her room, but someone gave my brother a sony sony pfm-42v1. I think its a 2004 model. Well the problem is it turns on but it wont show any picture. Can you guys tell me whats wrong with it.

Gotta love those "Free" TVs that people give away to friends so they don't have to take and pay for their dead garbage to the dump.

Does the sound work? If so, simply tell people its a giant radio. Maybe its just a bulb that needs replacing or some other interior widget?
