hd movies for a blu ray deal - Blu-ray Forum

i believe i read a while ago that if you had two hd dvd of either warner bros, or sony or something you send them the disc or cover and they'll send you a blu ray. i tried to search but came up empty, i was hoping some one could tell me if the deal is still going on and how to do it. thanks.

Yeah it's Warner's Red2Blu program, don't know if it's still going on though

thanks, looked at seems to still be going, only reason i ask is my work is an outlet store and we just got 30 boxes of hd dvds that we'll sell for 4.99 figured might work out in my favor.

Actually, Warner's Red2Blu program is still going on.

They just have been removing titles that are far too popular for them to fulfill in a reasonable period of time.

Notably: Casablanca, The Matrix, The Matrix: Ultimate Collection, and Harry Potter Limited Edition years 1-5 are no longer eligible for the program.

You can still upgrade "The Best of..." sets, "Oceans 11, 12, & 13" set, Smallville Season 6, The Sopranos Season 6 Parts 1 & 2, and Planet Earth.

The Single HD DVDs and single HD DVD/DVD combos are $4.95 US each to upgrade. The multi-disc HD DVDs range from $9.95 US to $14.95 US for the Blu upgrade depending on title. You can trade up to 25 titles for the entire household/address and shipping is a flat $6.95 US.

Offer only valid in the United States of America and Puerto Rico. Offer not valid for Canadian and International releases.
