Default Help with Optoma Panoview Screen!

Hello Guys,

I am in the process of updating my HT pictures on here but since posting my pictures I have a new addition.. The Epson TW3200 and a 110" (diagonal) matt white 1.0 gain screen . The projector is 5.5 metres away from the screen and I am loving the picture quality etc..

However there is 1 small problem.. The screen I purchased from ebay are one of the cheaper motorised screens which I bought for £135.00 . It is very good in the sense of quality and quiet motor etc.. However the only 1 thing which is annoying me alot is that there are a few V waves (vertical) in the left and right side of the screen . I have only had this screen for 1 month .. You can barely see it to be honest with you and whilst watching a movie you can only see it if there is a very bright scene..

I am a little bit of a perfectionist and now that I know this wave exists its annoying me and I just wish I didnt try and save money on the screen as I now know the screen is just as important .. if not more important than choosing the projector..

I have a few things in mind..

1 - Leave everything the way it is as it doesn't really spoil the movie experience unless very bright scenes..

2 - Go for an Optoma Panoview 106" or maybe I can fit a 120" screen motorised but will cost me btwn £350-500

3 - By a second hand screen Optoma Gray Wolf II 120" for approx £200 which has been used for 2 yrs and apparantley has no waves? Also it is glass beaded 1.8 gain?

Which of these options do you guys reccomend? I mean the screen I have now is superb and I am enjoying movies however I really wanted a flat (veeery flat surfaced) screen .. Do you think in time the screen will straighten itself out ? At night time I leave the screen down untill the morning.. I have been doing thuis for the past few nights..

Many Thanks.. Look forward in hearing your reccomendations
