According to the Uk section of this site, there are some serious problems with the picture quality on many of the episodes of the UK release of this series on blu ray.

Just wondering if anyone has bought the local release of this series and if so, can you comment on the picture quality on this release.

On GallifreyBase Forums, the problem seems to be occurring through all regions.

Bugger! Hopefully BBC may rerelease in the near future with the picture problems fixed.

Didn't know that, Thought it was limited to the UK
Might hold off buying the US release then.

Some think it may depend on your setup? People with PS3s seem to be fine which makes me a little more hopeful as my American release is on its way. Dont think BBC will change anything so might as well take the plunge.

It was slightly cheaper at 59.99 US compared to 44.97 Pound, even less of a difference if you take into account Amazon.uk free shipping
