Default Best Audio Media Player for a Mac

I have been recently setting up my 2 channel room and I am the point where I can finally have a dedicated room for music only rather than use my HT.

Currently I have an external hard drive with my music, mostly WAV files, and I have my Mac with my mp3's and various other formats (it’s all over the place). I also have another hard drive that is on my network that pretty much has all my WAV and itunes library (I transferred it over rather than use my HD).

I want to use a music player that can see all my music on all my devices and not just my itunes library. Currently I am using itunes but it is rather difficult using it to access my WAV files on my hard drive. I just want to use a player that I can put on random and it will play all my files no matter where they are and also not degrade the quality of the music.

I also have a sonas system and that has to be the easiest music player that I have used. It asks where the music is (itunes and my hard drive) and then just plays it. I can search and make my own playlist but it only works on sonas devices.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
