Not sure if this has been mentioned yet since i thought it was a Futureshop exclusive.I saw some in my local store this morning.Mods please remove this thread if its old news.Accept my apologies.

What store did you see this at (City, State)? I haven't seen or heard that this was in the States so I would be curious to see if it is somehow.

New Orleans,Louisiana.I was shocked to have seen it since i didn't notice any postings on it.The price was $34.99.

Best Buy in Metairie to be exact..They had about 15 copies on the shelf.Is it possible that they might have some more so-called "Futureshop exclusives" There's been some common Disney Steels between these 2 stores.

Urbeen-maybe it was mis-shipped since FS and BB are the same company. Or they deliberately shipped them to see what the demand would be. As a Steelbook fan, I've seen some threads asking how people feel about having more SB's in the US, aside from FYE,etc. Thanks for sharing with us!

Whats the Best Buy Sku #(on front price sticker) and UPC? Thats the best way to tell if its an accident and be able to check their website as well

If you turn over the steelbook and look at the bottomleft of the paper cover, check if there is a canadian flag visible there. That should be an indication if it was supposed to be a FS item.

JW could Best Buy be doing a similar thing, like they did with the Bond steelbooks, when they and their Canadian company Future Shop, were both selling them?

Hasn't Best Buy been selling some of the other Pixar/Disney releases, with Disney being the parent company of Pixar?

Interesting, sounds like an error or a test market. We need to see that sku, and if the FS Canadian evidence is on there.

sounds like an isolated distribution error as noone else has seen this so far. I was in a BB last night but it was pretty wiped out so they didnt have anything

urbeenjammin, on your receipt you should have a 7 digit sku number if you can provide it I can have someone look up how widely available this is or the UPC from the back, thanks.

I've got all of my SteelBooks from FutureShop, but the only one that has a Canadian Flag on the back is Wall-E. Maybe they're planning on releasing a bunch in the US?
