Default What's the best Pacino movies to get on BD?

I've been wondering about that. His newer movies tend to disappoint so my option is his older flicks but are the transfers worth the buy? I'm a huge Pacino fan.

Yeah, I'm aware of his movies... but I have some of them on DVDs, and can't decide or need help to decide, on which of those films are great on Blu Ray? I hear the new Coppola collection wasn't all that good...

Dog Day huh? I love that film....

I do believe you've been misinformed... those movies have never looked better than they do in blu-ray.

Godfather looks incredible, as does Donnie Brasco. (Donnie looks better side-by-side, but Godfather is still A+++ because it looks better than its ever looked and more importantly, captures Coppola's intended look)

Donnie Brasco was very meh, Johnny Depp somehow outshined Pacino.

Heat's a definite must and I think Insomnia besides Ocean's 13 was his last good film.
