We have recently read over at the landofwhimsy website that the Blu-Ray transfer of Night of the Living Dead has been botched. Don May Jr has confirmed that the materials that were supplied were handed over in a "pre-cropped" state and that there wasn't anything that can be done about it. The result is a transfer that looks pretty cramped at times and is FAR from being the ultimate release of the movie in a home format. Because Don May Jr commented upon this, it would appear that the same cropped transfer will be used when the movie is eventually released in the U.S. The Wilson Bros
