Identifying Netflix Streaming players - Blu-ray Forum

Question:

Was at Target this morning, and they had a couple of players on clearance (I think they were Samsungs, perhaps Sharps..... hell, I don't know!)

Either way, I didn't scribble down the model numbers, but they were $125, and I figure I'm in need of some new players, but DEFINITELY want ones that can Stream Netlix........

I didn't see anything on the box that said "Netflix" but they said BD LIVE, and also some "Other" options that I wasn't aware of.....

Will Netflix capable players say "Netflix" on the box, or something else???

EDIT:

Samsung's site shows 4 models, and it looks like they all stream netflix...... I'm "Pretty" sure the player I saw was a Samsung....... crap.... I think I should go back to Target, and write down the model number.

every time i have seen a netflix ready player it has said it on the box. or the display model will have a tag on it saying it is. also check the netflix web site for model numbers then snag that puppy. you can order you netflix streaming cd for your PS3 and thats free!

Every player that I've seen that supports it has a sticker on the box saying that it does.

BestBuy has the Insignia NS-BRDVD3 on sale this week for $99. It is the one that I have, and does Netflix streaming.

The PS3 will have NetFlix steaming REALLY soon - for FREE w/Netflix subscription!

If you have a smart phone you can browse the player specs while you are at the store.....
