Default Movie-style trailers do not equal next-gen

Anyone else bothered by this?

I was watching trailers of the "Heavenly Sword" game, and also own several PS3 games. I am a little disgusted thusfar, although I love using it for watching movies and it's worth the price as a BR player.

Why is it that we get so many games everyone posts screenshots of, and ooh's/ahh's over, yet they are almost always screen shots of trailers -- not gameplay? The only semi-interesting game I've seen where the actual gameplay impressed me is Rachet/Clank. Even still, i's hard to discern what is actual gameplay from rendered trailer advertising. Heavenly Sword seems to showcase lots of trailers, but gameplay I've seen so far looks a lot like everything else in its category.

Anyone else disappointed so far?
