Boondock Saints 2 finished filming! - Blu-ray Forum

According to IMDb, Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day is finished filming, and there's also a few clips on Youtube about it with Clifton Collins Jr. and Troy Duffy.

The movie is slated for a November 1st, 2009 release!

Um to be honest I don't know how I feel about this. I love Boondock Saints but it was great all by itself. It's a cool idea to make a sequel but we all know how most sequels turn out.....worse. It sounds more like a scheme to make money off an underground success than to continue an awsome movie story like the one from Boondocks. That's just my opinion though.

Watching it may help you decide if you like it or not.

I'm on the fence about this one. I suppose maybe if I was promised that I would see some more of this

this is so LATE for them to try and capitalize on the first one's popularity. the shine has simply worn off.

especially for the people who have seen the Overnight documentary, I'm sure.

I'll watch it but I'll expect a movie as low in quality as the original without any of the word of mouth and out of nowhere qualities the first one had that got me and others excited.

More like they ANNOUNCED they were filming this 7 months ago. I believe they said filming would start in April or some such. I'm too lazy to search for the other BDS2 threads on here to find a link, though. Sorry!

I agree, we need a trailer- double quick.

I just can't, in good faith, hold an opinion on something I haven't seen. There are not that many movies that hit the theaters in a given year. I can afford the $10. If someone sees it and hates it, and actually says why- no worries.

I mean Willem Dafoe was the highlight of the first one, so without him, I don't know how this will hold up

I'm interested in it though, unless the trailer ends up groan inducing
