Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles and Marlin from Finding Nemo. Their love for their kids is undeniable. Not sure how much it counts, the dad from Onward to a lesser degree. Pixar does dads like no other.

Glenn Ford as Jonathan Kent in Superman. A great portrayal of a good man just trying to raise and protect his son to become the man and hero he knows he is destined to be. His death in the movie gets me every time because you like him that much. Glenn Ford did a great job, his role wasn’t huge but his presence was great and made a bigger impact than Brando’s Jor-El.

Robert De Niro's character in Silver Linings Playbook. Reminds me too much of my own father, which is actually kinda scary. I'll probably have trouble rewatching this movie again without tearing up when I get old someday.
