United Kingdom X-Men Quadrilogy Boxset Question?

Does anyone know if the films in this boxset come in seperate cases for each film or if it's one big case with all the discs inside? Thanks.

I noticed Amazon UK lists this boxset as containing only 4 disks??

The Trilogy boxset from Amazon US contains 9 disks in comparison?

Is it because the Amazon UK version is lacking all the special features perhaps?

Three of the disc are nothing to have (digital copy of each movie), three of them are extra stuff (really good extra stuff).

Yes, I was examining one of these sets in a HMV just the other day. It looked extremely cheaply put together, and just plain nasty in regards to the packaging. Cases and outer cardboard sleeve. The previous X-Men Trilogy release looked much better.

going by the cases any the case for 1 -3 can hold 2 each. not sure if they are extras features or just the pointless digital copies tho

it says 4 disks only the Amazon UK listing?

Just saw this from a customer review, so it is indeed a 7-disks set
Ok...
This boxset contains the following:
X-Men - this is the 2 Disc version with all extras from the Trilogy edition.
X-Men 2 - see above
X-Men: The Last Stand - see above
X-Men Origins: Wolverine - this is a single-disc edition (no digital copy etc) but has all the extras from the separate release.

The discs are in HD-Slim cases, Wolverine is in a very-slim-case! The outer case in simply a cardboard slip-cover.

So, all-in-all there are SEVEN discs in this set and NOT, NOT, NOT the 4 discs that Amazon state.

Amazon...maybe if you got your information correct more people would review/buy your products!!

Can someone please confirm that in the UK edition of X-Men Quadrilogy the first 3 movies are encoded as regions A-B-C and the last movie (Wolverine) is encoded as regions A-B?

I want to purchase that boxed set, but first I need to be sure that all discs will play on my USA-made PS3.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Not sure if this helps you or not..

But the UK release of X-Men Trilogy is Region Free according to blurayregioncodes.com. Based on that, X-Men I to III of the X-Men Quadrilogy should also be Region Free.

As far as I know X-Men Origins: Wolverine is B&C only. Odd, when the US is ABC. I see no reason to doubt the back cover, but not having a Region A player I can't confirm it.

D'oh - scratch that, its AB!

People need to learn to NEVER TRUST THE DISC SPECS FROM AMAZON.

They are wrong more often than they are right. No real effort is put in by them. Even when people e-mail them to point out the mistakes they make.

I have seen pictures of the back covers of the individual UK blu-ray discs, and it seems that the first 3 movies are region A+B+C, while Wolverine is region A+B.

I assume the discs found in the Quadrilogy box are the same, no changes at all?

Lets clear this up:

X-Men Disc 1 & 2 - A,B,C
X-Men 2 Disc 1 & 2 - A,B,C
X-Men 3 Disc 1 & 2- A,B,C
X-Men Origins - A,B (Loses the Digital Copy in the Boxset, everything else stays the same)

Thank you for the clarification, now I have made up my mind about buying the UK Quadrilogy boxed set. I never liked the fact that the USA edition does not include Wolverine and instead adds three useless (for me, at least) discs with digital copies.

Now I just need to find out the region codes of two other UK blu-ray discs:

Knowing (back cover says it's region B, but someone said it works on a USA-made PS3)

Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection (no info at all on the back of the boxed set)

Thank you for the link, I had checked that website for "Knowing" and that's where it says "Region Free, although the back cover says Region B".

It also mentions that the "Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection 1-6" boxed set is Region Free.

I just wanted confirmation from someone who actually owns those discs before placing an order for them.
