Got mine! It's a web only boxing week deal, and their regular price is $384.99. This is the lowest I've seen a quality subwoofer priced in Canada and the shipping is free.
They started with 800 of them on Christmas eve and there's less than 300 remaining now.

Quick question...... (might be off topic) sorry

I have a Yamaha HTR - 6160B Receiver and with that a Bose Accoustimas 6 Speakers connected too it. Obviously this come's with its own Subwoofer. Can I purchase this, and connect it to my receiver? Giving me two Subs?

Does this obviously improve performance....

If your Yamaha looks like this, your receiver has 2 subwoofer preouts in the back, so you can use one of them for this device. Just plug it into where it says "LFE IN" on the back of the sub.

And yes, 2 subs will improve performance in a HT, the more the merrier they say around here, depending on the size of the room.

I bought the VDR-12 they had for $299.99 on boxing day. Regular price was $850 so I thought this would be a better deal.

Good price for a powered sub though with a reputable name! I did look at it before going with the Velodyne.
