Default Sony selling to Toshi might not be happening.

http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=8973

Both companies claim that nothing has been said about the issue. But it also reads as it is still possible.
I personnaly feel this might be good for us, since maybe then Tosh and Sony might work something out and put HDVDVD out of firepower.
Opinions welcomed.

Toshiba has invested FAR too much to come to any agreement that would hurt HD-DVDs chances any time soon.

I could see this happening. The PS3 is not directly related to Blu-ray's success, but one might consider this as Toshiba doing a little bit of hedging.

even if hd-dvd one this ''war'' 2morrow BLU-RAY would still be here because of the PS3 i.e. BLU-RAY video games.

At that point, what difference would Blu-ray make as a format, if all you have was video games... it's just computer-rendered graphics... nothing more besides the storage capacity...

Well i remember not long ago, someone posted something about a friend that works at Toshiba Japan, and apparently that side of the world wants to pretty much go blu, so i still think is somewhat plausible.
