Hopefully this won't get lumped together with something else (aka something "lesser") when/if it comes out. I'd kill for a fully remastered edition of this movie just to watch that classic Frankie Goes to Hollywood scene!
I've loved this movie from right around the time it came out, lol which made me 12 (what were my parents thinking??) and it gave me an early crush on Melanie Griffith which has since departed, but those find memories and way cool visuals are still there. I even tracked down a CD from composer Pino Donaggio that had some of the more prominent tracks from the film on it, most notably the song that'd play any time Jake Scully would look through the telescope and peep her disrobing. I dunno...I have what I kiddingly tell my wife is a "late nite Showtime" collection of DVDs that I wanna convert over to blu-ray editions and this one leads the pack. |
