I know some of these have been posted a few times, but grouping them together could help with clutter in the long run.
Hopefully these prices stay like this and don't go back up once Best Buy's sale ends, but that may be wishful thinking for some of these. I know Amazon has a lot of these titles for about a buck more and Best Buy has better pricing on some of these but there are some great deals here. Here are some of the titles that stood out to me: Walmart.com pricing Angels & Demons - $19.86 Drag Me to Hell - $19.86 G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra - $19.86 The Hangover - $17.86 Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince - $16.86 Ice Age 3: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs - $22.32 (Online) and $19.96 (In store) Inglourious Basterds - $19.86 Monsters, Inc. - $22.86 Night At The Museum: Battle Of The Smithsonian - $19.86 North By Northwest - $19.86 Public Enemies - $19.86 Shorts - $19.86 Star Trek (2009) - $22.86 The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 - $19.86 Terminator Salvation - $16.86 Up - $22.86 Last edited by greatdevastator; 10-30-2009 at 07:21 PM. |

Maybe blu-ray doesn't fit into Wal-Mart's core demographic, but you'd think they would dedicate more in-store shelf space to it. My local Target stores actually stock a decent supply and have had some good prices lately. I've been shopping there and saying up yours to Wally World. |

Completely agree! The Blu-Ray section at my local Wal-Mart is practically non-existent...and I live in Seattle!!! It's so G.D. frustrating!!! My local Best Buy already has half it's movie section devoted to Blu-Rays, and Traget's starting to expand from it's "one aisle" as well.

I agree, they are horrible with their inventory. Plus the employees never have any idea what I am talking about.

I don't understand why this thread was moved from Hot Deals to the Retail/Shopping Discussion.
I would consider these "hot deals." Some of the comments that followed the original post went on to discuss Wal-Mart in general, but I would say this should be in the Hot Deals section. |

Could a mod or anyone please inform me as to why this was moved from Hot Deals? It's not a big deal or anything, I just don't think this should have been moved since these are some of the cheapest prices out there on numerous Blu-rays.

How do you place a preorder on Walmart.com? I push the preorder button and the items go into the cart (it even shows the number of items) but, when I put the cursor over the cart button it says the cart is empty. It won't let me pay for them and it won't let me delete them either.

I read an article the other day that said that Walmart is going to start using their website to compete directly with online merchants like Amazon. The brick and mortar stores will compete with other brick and mortars but the prices will be different than the online store. So Walmart will beat Amazon's prices online, but won't offer the same prices in-store. Maybe this is just the first wave of them really competing online.
