Default Which MAG team are YOU on? Raven, Valor or S.V.E.R.?

So I finally finished DLing the "massive" update, and they want me to pick a team. There doesn't seem to be a way to see which of my PSN friends are on which team, so select the poll option above.

DO NOT discuss any beta details that will break the non-disclosure agreement. That includes complaining about bugs. Obviously, the beta isn't the final version.

It IS okay to discuss the 3 teams and why you chose yours.

RAVEN

Private Military Contractor: Raven Industries, GmbH
Location: Vienna, Austria

Raven is a private military company based in Vienna, Austria. They work primarily with the nations of Europe, and are compromised largely of German, French and Italian nationals. A massive corporation with ties to numerous defense industry giants, Raven is managed by a pair of former special-forces operatives. Raven's soldiers are high-tech, streamlined and elite; for the most part, they are non-veterans who have been exposed to the latest virtual training techniques and physical training regimines in order to enhance their battlefield prowess.

S.V.E.R
Private Military Contractor: Seryi Volk Executive Response
Location: Grozny, Chechen Republic

Rebellious, covert, and with a checkered history, S.V.E.R. is a PMC based out of Grozny, in the Chechen Republic. They have recruited heavily from the nations of China, India and Russia. The least established of the "big three" PMCs, S.V.E.R. has only recently become a legitimate defense corporation. It's operatives consist of former soldiers and private citizens, some with rumored criminal backgrounds. Unconventional in their look, designation and style, S.V.E.R. believes in fear, intimidation, respect and honor. They improvise when appropriate, repairing and modifying abandonded military vehicles and equipment when necessary.

VALOR
Private Military Contractor: Valor Company, Inc.
Location: Alaska, United States

Well funded and experienced, Valor was founded by a group of former US Army officers. Valor is a private military company based in remote Alaska, and has recruited much of it's personnel from seasoned combat veterans of US, British and Mexican Special Forces. As a group with deeply experienced ranks, Valor Company knows that peace requires sacrifice and discipline. They are bold, brash and flexible; they also believe in the "soldier's code", particularly when facing less scrupulous opponents. Their equipment is battle tested and reliable.

If I could ever get this 2.6Bg + update downloaded I think I'll choose S.V.E.R., but really I have no idea yet. I'll respond again when I'm up and running... If ever. haha.

I've been leaning toward Raven, based on the description. If it turns out most of my friends are on Valor because it's US-based, I might consider it. S.V.E.R. sounds a little like a d-bag team, TBH. No offense to anyone that joined S.V.E.R., it's just based on the description.

I'm playing on Raven because I like their high-tech look and feel. Not sure if I can discuss this, but I am confused as to their national origin description and their actual locations in-game.

Anyone know what I'm referring to?

(Nevermind if it's secret)

i have a beta code, but havent played yet, if you pick a team, are you bound to use that team for the whole time you use the beta? or can i not ask that because of the NDA?

at any rate, raven sounds like what i would pick if i had to stay with only one team

I'm leaning toward Valor or Raven, but it's all academic until the download actually finishes.

I never saw a NDA prior to installing/running the game. Is there one?

i havent seen it either, but yeah, there is a lot of talk about not violating it by talking about anything in game or any bugs or glitches, so im just gonna err on the side of caution and not say anything

hey max, can you answer the question i posted above, after you pick a team, do you have to stay as that team for the duration of the beta? or does that question violate the NDA?

I'm not really sure. Sorry.

Try the official forums for beta testers.

There's a lot of talk about a lot of things

I would think a NDA would be rather important to the developer/publisher--if that is what their intent is for this particular beta--important enough to lay out an express agreement for the testers, rather than hope they are also reading the right forums for guidance.

Of course, since I have yet to successfully complete the big download, a NDA may yet be forthcoming. I just wondered if anyone had seen any actual NDA language, rather than simply assuming a NDA exists.

I was in the intial beta and I am pretty sure the NDA appeared after installation and when you start the game and connect to servers.
