Sharp BD-HP21U Firmware - Blu-ray Forum

I have installed the latest firmware from Sharp (once again) and the *&$#@ player will not play Snow White. It plays the trailers without a problem, but will not read the movie. No answer from Sharp or Disney. Anyone out there having similar problems?

I spoke with Sharp this morning and they say it is because Disney Studio's have not released firmware to them. I then called Disney, and was advised that ONLY Sharp players are having difficulty and it is Sharp that is the problem. Called Sharp back and told them what Disney had said and was advised to keep watching their web site for updated Firmware! Moral of this story, do not purchase Sharp Products.

It's just not Sharp products as my Samsung HT-B2T systems does the exact thing I get to the menu where the Magic Mirror says welcome and then nothing can't do anything else with the menu, I also have done a firmware upgrade but my last firmware was posted sometime in March/2009 on Samsung's site. I also was told the same story and to keep checking their firmware site for any updates
