I heard a Xbox homer say that Ps3 will never be able to have 60 frames per second that it will only have 30. is this true? I thought that it was the discs not the system that was only at 30. is this just another case of developers not using the full capabilities of the blu ray?

NBA 08, which came out at launch was at 60fps. There are tons of other games that are also running at 60fps, and tons that are planned to run at 60fps.
Whoever said that is a complete idiot, and you can tell them I said that. |

Most games run at 60 frames per second. Maybe whoever told you otherwise is a 360 fanboy that wants the ps3 to flop.

I think EA or someone annouced a couple sports games, maybe madden, were built for the 360 and ported sloppily over to the PS3, so the 360 version will run at 60 fps and they left the PS3 version running at 30.
But thats the only case I've heard. There are plenty of games out and in the pipeline that run at 60, as mentioned above. |
