Smile Universal "Jurassic Park"

I just read in the Digital Bits (Nov. 04/09) that a representative from Universal hinted at releasing Jurassic Park on Blu ray in 2010. My adrenalin meter just jumped ten fold......I can hardly wait to finally have Jurassic Park on Blu!

Ok except for the fact that Spielberg, not Universal, decides if and when it will hit the format.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure he'd tell Universal... Maybe that's what the rep was hinting to...

This was total 100% speculation on Bill Hunt's part (or whoever wrote that entry for The Rumor Mill). No Universal representative ever "hinted" at Jurassic Park being released, they only said that Universal would expand its Blu-Ray catalogue in 2010.

This will be a HUGE seller. I don't know of anyone who doesn't want this on Blu.

+1 even though Universal released some catalog titles. they are still behind since they were on the stupid HD-DVD side. Glad to see Smokin' Aces coming out in January.

As much as I also want them now, ... I'll wait it out till they have it right! Same with BTtF. I dont want no double-dips on these catalog titles. So please, lets just let them take a little longer and put out disc that are 5/5 in the a/v department.

I would love to have the first movie on Blu-Ray, when I think of movies from the 90's I think of how cool Jurassic Park was.

Not just the sound of the TRex, but the thumping/vibration when they first encounter him. That will shockwave those that have a proper AV setup.
