Default Showtime HD and Obnoxious Ads

Since this is an off-topic forum. . .

Does anyone else here object to paying for a premium channel, Showtime High Definition, while being subject to pop up ads at the bottom of the screen?

It is bad enough that we must endure this out-of-control nonsense on non-premium channels (which we all pay to watch as well!), but to put up with it on premium channels goes over the edge.

Anyone else upset about this and have any ideas how to get across our anger to Showtime?

Stop subscribing. I only have basic cable, and I wouldn't even have that if it wasn't included with my internet service. I would rather buy BD/DVDs that I can watch any time uninterrupted than pay for "premium channels" with cropped, upscaled garbage obscured by ads and BS.

TBS is pretty bad for that too, sometimes their pop-up ads cover half of the screen!

HBO HD is money well spent.

Sopranos and John from cincinatti in HD....hmmmm...glorious.
