Norway Varg Veum

Are there any Norwegians here who own some of the Varg Veum films on blu-ray. I was wondering if anyone could comment on their quality. I've seen a few of the films and I'm thinking about buying a few of them, but I can't find any reviews for the blu-ray disc.

Varg Veum on blu-ray would be nice.

Hope our Belgian distributor will release them too on blu-ray. And some other scandinavian series as Wallander, Irene Huss, Beck,...

From Beck only 2 seasons have been released (the films after 2000). Other seasons are now postponed since 2 years. Irene Huss should have been released in late 2008 - early 2009 but is now postponed till end 2010 Maybe because they want to release them directly to blu-ray, I don't know ...

In november Danish series The Killing will be released on dvd, but not on blu-ray ...

According to the magazine 'Hjemmekino' here in Norway, they given the 6 movies an average of 4/6 on PQ, and 5/6 on SQ.
They also stated that the two films that were shown in the cinema genreally had a better PQ (Bitre Blomster and Falne Engler).

Be aware that they are in 1080i/50Hz and will probably not work on region A-players.
All have 1.78:1 except Falne Engler which is in 2.39:1.

All taken from 'Hjemmekino' 05/2009

I've bought the first four, but was a bitt dissapointed when I discovered that both of the two I've watched so far had slight audio problems. I havn't noted down exactly when it happens, but in both films, there's a point where there is a very sudden drop in volume for a few seconds before it goes back to normal. both times this happened in the middle of a sentance, so it obviously wasn't meant to happen. At first I figured that it might be my PS3 since it happened with both films, but I discovered that it happens at the same place every time. Also I doubt it's my disc that's the problem considering the exact same problem ocured on two seperate discs.
