Default Sanyo 50" 720 Plasma?

So I saw on the news that Walmart will be offering a Sanyo 50" Plasma (720 res I think) for $598

So yeah...this is a rockin price if you can get one...but I didn't know Sanyo even made plasmas?

Are these old TVs or something new or ????

I did see the actual Sanyo TV you mentioned in a couple Walmarts. The black level detail, even in the bright "showroom" environment, bested the other budged-minded LCDs surrounding it.

This would be an awesome TV for the bedroom. But ain't no way in hell I'm sitting in line on BF for this thing. There will be mobs fighting over this.

Thanks for the info, Rob.
