Default The Beyond (is the bonus Dvd region free)

I just ordered this Blu-ray with some other stuff from Amazon. Anyways I live in the USA so both discs will need to be region free. I see that Arrow used a standard dvd for the second disc and that is fine as long as it's region free. The reason I like to get these from Arrow is because of the extra bonus stuff. With City of the Living Dead I purchased both the USA edition and the Uk edition. With City of the Living Dead I wanted all the extra bonus stuff on the Arrow edition.

On the website from Arrow I saw this "DISC 1 - Blu-ray, region free (ABC)
DISC 2 - DVD PAL DVD, region 0". Since it says region 0 I am thinking it might work. I have 5 Dvd players (3 of them Blu-ray players and 2 standard Dvd players) so I can try the Dvd bonus disc on all 5 of those players to see what happens.

The DVD being PAL is the only thing that might cause you grief. You'll have to check if your player and TV can handle that.

I can't see you having any problems if it's region 0 apart from the PAL content. Region 0 isn't an actual region setting so either the discs have 1-6 region codes or none at all. Hopefully one of your players can support PAL although Arrow might use NTSC if they're going region free with their DVD's.

As long as you can access PAL on one or more of your players then you wont have a problem unless of course your TV can't handle the PAL standard.

Thanks. You don't see many region free discs in PAL, although the region free NTSC ones I see are usually bargain basement stuff!

Thanks Everyone. The good thing about having so many players is there is a better chance one of them can play this disc. Only 2 of my players go with my tvs (my Blu-ray player with my HDTV and my standard Dvd playier with my tv in the living room). I also have my desktop computer with standard dvd and my Sony Blu-ray laptop and my external blu-ray drive that I got for my netbook.

The Beyond Blu-ray came on the mail today from Amazon UK. I wanted to ask if the italian audio for this Blu-ray edition of The Beyond is the same one that was used when this first came out in the theaters in Italy back in 1981? I plan to watch this tonight on my laptop and I am either going to watch it with the english audio or the italian audio with english subtitles.

There isn't any other Italian track that I know of. It must be the original mono.
