Unfortunately Manchester United is also around $1 billion in debt thanks to the Glazers.

Yeah, all of the top teams are also severely in debt, although Man U is due to their owners. The Cowboys and Yankees have huge debts since they just built new stadiums that were extremely expensive. The Patriots also have quite a bit of debt from when they built their new stadium that opened in 2002 that was entirely privately funded and the owners have also spent a lot building structures around the stadium.

I don't think the redskins are that bad in debt, although I do semi remember something about a 450 million dollar refinancing

You aren't the only one pissed. Living in Central FL I always hear Tampa Bay Bucs fans complaining about the Glazers. They have completely destroyed that organization in recent years. They are something ridiculous like $45 mill UNDER the NFL salary cap and refuse to sign any real free agents.

If the Glazers are so deep in debt I wish they'd friggin just sell the Bucs and Manchester U. so those teams can be taken over by capable owners.
