Fox Home Entertainment have announced a trio of US Blu-ray Disc titles for May 2010. Arriving on the 4th is Elektra: Director’s Cut ($29.99 SRP) and then a week later on the 11th you get two barebones action-thrillers - Marked for Death and The Edge ($24.99 SRP each). Specs follow…

surprised so many people are gonna pick up Elektra
i heard it was a bigger steaming pile than Daredevil is, and then i watched it and found little redeeming about it. of course, opinions are opinions and they change for all.

not knocking anyone who enjoys the film, just rarely have i heard someone who likes it much the less would spend money to buy it.

you heard right... im shocked as well, this movie was hard to watch, even if garner looks good in it

Whats everyones opinion on the edge is it good? I love both Anthony hopkins and Baldwin so maybe it's worth a pickup if it's around $15?

its a decent movie, personally i wouldnt buy it... but i usually leave it on when i catch it on tv..

Marked For Death for sure, once the price hits $10. Best kill scene ever. Segal delivered a LvL 99 hit combo at the end.

Definitely pickin up The Edge. I'm also a bit surprised by the love for Elektra, but hey to each his own. I guess Garner does add some loveablility to the blu-ray release

Guilty Pleasure award goes to Marked For Death. that's my all time favorite Segal Movie. day one buy just for laughs haha

Fox is still consistently screwing the fans with barebones releases. I understand the initial wave of Blu-rays being barebones, as a lot of them were, but they really need to stop with this crap. I guess the fact that they're still doing it though leaves little hope for re-issues of older BDs with all Special Features intact.
