Watchmen DC and UC sound problem...

I have a Sony BDP-S350 player hooked up to a set of 5.1 speakers. Whenever I play either the Director's Cut or the Ultimate Cut of Watchmen, the sounds are very, very loud, but the voices sound very low. For example, when the TV woman reports that Rorschach assaulted a cop (and my speakers are in normal volume), I have to put subtitles because I can't her what she says, but when the attacker kicks the door in Blake's appartment it is very loud. Can anybody tell me what I can do to fix this? Thanks. Please take note that I don't understand technical terms or anything, speak to me like I am five years old lol.

what kind of receiver do you have? that way we can help you out by understanding what equipment you have.

I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the sound mix of watchmen. I don't have a home theater system, but I had to put the volume down to the point where I couldn't hear the voices just so that the effects scenes were at a reasonable level. I remember a lot of people making similar comments when the BD was first released.

Yes, I'm serious. English is not my mother tongue and I don't know anything about these kinds of stuff. And I still don't know what a reciver is. I hooked my TV up to a Technics 5.1 surround sound home theater. That's all I know.

I read about this problem with the Director's Cut, but didn't have any problems with the volume of dialogue vs. sound effects/music on my Denon 590. Perhaps some folks just need to properly calibrate their systems.
