Well, it was only a matter of time for one of these threads…..I just got back from picking up a prescription and our local Shopko has every aisle full ready for Friday. It’s like Christmas slapped you in the face!!!

So, this holiday season, is there anything special you are hoping for, is there any gift your buying for someone that your really excited to give them??

My local soft rock affiliate, KOST 103.5, is doing its annual month-long of Christmas songs now. I'm excited.

Also, I'm planning to deep fry some turkeys this year.

Oh, and it's the first holiday season where I'll be seeing someone in quite some time.

Taking it pretty easy this holiday season since the wife is still unemployed.

We have 3 Thanksgivings to goto though

that's just it, w/all of the black friday ads coming out on thursday, the x-mas season will officially be here!!!

it's like thanksgiving is here as an official holiday to plan your attach on x-mas!!!

I agree. I find it really irritating that over the last several years it's almost like Thanksgiving is completely forgotten about. I've been in a couple of stores where they started putting out Christmas items right after Halloween. For now I wish everyone here a Happy Thanksgiving. You won't get a Merry Christmas out of me until Thanksgiving is over.

after halloween??? crap....i was in a store in my area that had x-mas trees up and decorated in the aisle next to the halloween costumes 2 weeks before halloween!!!!!

Right on Steve! As soon as Halloween was over stores like WM, and Target started putting up X-Mas lights on.

You kuuuuuuurazy Americans celebrate Thanksgiving so close to xmas it's wierd. Waaaaaaaaaay up here in Canada, as soon as Halloween passes...BOOM! The christmas flyers and commercials come fast and furious.

I finally got a job so christmas will be a bit tight, but that makes no difference to me. I'm a kid this time of yr...and have been singing xmas carols for a few weeks now.

Merry xmas and happy holidays to everyone. EVEN YOU JADEDDEATH!
