I just noticed on Amazon that this is being released tomorrow. I think it's a pretty desent Stallone flick that was overlooked. If anyone picks it up, let us know what the PQ/AQ are like.

Man theres alot of his movies coming out on the same day. Getting the uncut version for sure locked up does anyone know how much its going to be

I'm expecting a typical Lionsgate catalog title, which means average picture/sound quality.

"Typical" Lions Gate, that I'VE seen, has usually meant 7.1 DTS-HD MA Audio but this release is just DD 5.1 (

It has 5.1 DTS-HD.

It's actually pretty desent, especially if you like Stallone and prison movies. Donald Sutherland puts in a good performance too. Also, look for a young Tom Sizemore in it.

great flick and still holds up well imo

i saw it in theaters and own the dvd. the music score is great as well. It isnt a straight up action film either. Stallone puts on one of his better performances

here's to hoping that Walmart has it for their typical $10 Lionsgate catalogue price, same with the Rambo DC

Same here. Most Lion's Gate BD's have superb audio in 7.1 DTS-HD MA. The audio of the logo alone makes my home theater tremble

sheesh, got back from Walmart, Lock-up was $15. no go for me, guess the days of Lionsgate catalogues coming out for $10 at wallyworld are over

I agree. I thought Sonny Landham was perfectly cast as well.

I just watched this for the first time in around 20 years. It was a pretty good prison movie. Worth a blind buy if you can get it cheap.

Yes they do, & as noted above, it appears this one was Upgraded with current audio standards (5.1 DTS-HD MA), as IMO, it really wouldn't benefit with a 7.1 Audio track. Good flick though, underrated.

Not only was the audio upgraded but judging from the back cover, the Blu-ray Disc includes additional new extras not found the last special edition DVD.

Unless I'm wrong and it's just listed weird.
