He didn't become obese until later in life after a jousting accident.

I have the first three seasons on blu-ray from the UK. They are region-free and of good quality.

I own the UK series for 1-3, and love them, but I heard the show's not going to hit the UK until spring 2011, which means the BDs won't come out until well after that. So I finally broke down and decided to rent the standard DVDs from Netflix until I can get the BD.

i own the american releases on blu ray, for the tudors and their nowhere to be found to add to my collection

There are no US releases of The Tudors on blu-ray. Presumably what you own is the Canadian release.
