I didn't even know Cujo was coming out on blu-ray. May have to pick it up. Thanks for the heads up.

Hangover on Amazon.com is $15.99. Hangover on Amazon.ca is $27.99. Way to go Amazon, you're definitely keeping us Canadians happy with your amazing deals.

BTW, Amazon has a holiday pack of Polar Express, Happy Feet, and Christmas Vacation for $48.99, compared to Best Buy which is at $58.99.

This averages to $16.33 a movie, anyone think this is a good deal? I've been looking to buy these 3 movies.

I don't think Amazon.com and Amazon.ca are suppose to have similar prices. .com is standard pricing right now for US release while .ca is standard pricing for Canada release. Don't think that is going to change much. Though I do wish Amazon.ca was a bit more competitive with their pricing like Amazon.com is.

I was in the states and their BD selection and prices were horrific. So similar to ours, only a few deals. I can see why people would shop on Amazon.com as the prices are so much better. Wish it was the same for us.

I think you could do better if you bought them individually... I know WM has had these titles for around $9.83 on occasion

LOL I know what you're saying.....Terminator Salvation on Amazon.ca starts at $27.49 +tax+shipping=$36.65 (unless you spend another 11 bucks shipping is free) & on Amazon.com the price starts at $15.99 and when shipping + IFD are added the final tally is $25.89....almost 11 bucks cheaper.

Yup the price differences suck, I was surprised to find the titles I listed so cheap actually.

I miss the days when amazon.com had no import fee and at the same time offering crazy BOGO sales that they didnt jack prices up on. Its sad that even with $ conversion and import costs it still that much cheaper to shop there.

Yup, there's gonna be a bunch of Blu's on Amazon.com for $10 such as Braveheart and Gladiator, Season 4 of Weeds for $14.99, and that's in addition to a lot of other cheap titles right now like There Will Be Blood, etc. I'm gonna have to jump in tonight and get some titles. Ended up getting a trial month of Prime to so i can get 2 day shipping to boot.

He must be using a US address. I would have signed up for prime a long time ago if we could with a Canadian address.

I wonder if it would work with Borderlinx, that new cross-border shopping service from VISA? You'd still have to pay for the Borderlinx shipping, though... Takes the edge off the incentive, I would think.

what's borderlinx? i just found the site sounds kind of cool...if i could order throughout sites and only ship to myself once every few months it might be worth the hassle saving wise (for things i'm not in a hurry for)...or i guess for getting stuff from sites that dont ship to canada

Edit: How is it worth it? I just calculated the costs for a single dvd and i would be paying 36.00 in fees + the cost of the item and to ship there to begin with for a dvd...blu-ray might be slightly less
