New Sony receiver under 1000 Euros - Blu-ray Forum

I am looking to get the best Sony receiver under 1000 Euros. This will be paired with my S550 and S500 Sony bluray players and KDL-46X2000 TV.

Your suggestions are very welcome.

Why Sony? Given the choice, Sony would be low on my list. Have you looked at Denon, Onkyo, or Pioneer?

All player/recorder decks (CD,DVD,MD,DAT,bluray,video DV, Hi8, VHS) in the house are Sony.

Therefore Sony only.

What about the recent STR-DN1000 ????
