Default Legend of Mana JP PSN

Quote:
If you've been counting the days for a release date announcement for the PSN release of Legend of Mana, relief is in sight. Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto revealed via the Square Enix Members Twitter today that the game's price and date will be decided during a meeting tomorrow. He didn't say for sure that the info would be passed along tomorrow, but based off the patterns from past Hashimoto Twitter teases, this will be the case.

Hashimoto first announced plans for the Legend of Mana PSN release in late June. Since then, he's been providing occasional updates on the game's progress via Twitter. The promotional campaign is similar to the campaigns for Dew Prism and Final Fantasy IX. Twitter seems to be Square Enix's preferred method for promoting retro PSN releases.

I remember trying to play the JP import on my PSX without any knowledge of Japanese..ya that went well lol...

I eventually picked up the US release back then. Hopefully a US PSN version will be announced shortly.

Very cool. My brother and I put in a lot of hours into this game back on the PS1.

I remember playing this game back on my PSX and hating it. I thought it would be like Secret of Mana, but I was SO wrong. I never did figure out the ridiculous crafting system, either.

I tend not to like games that have too many random elements, though, so I thought I would provide a short disclaimer for people who might be thinking what I did when I bought it way back in the day.

Very true. It is completely different than the SNES release. This is more of a choose your own adventure story. A Google search would elaborate on what exactly this game is.

Yeah you are right it wasn't like Secret Of Mana..but Legend of Mana was a decent game in its own right.
