I posted this in the technology thread but didn't figure out my problem. I think this is the same as the skipping issue some people reported in the Bourne Identity during the car chase. Can anyone tell me if they have had this happen but not have it repeat? I'm running out of time to return it if it is the disc.

I'm not sure. I have a PS3 and I could never get Cloverfield to play properly (Netflix). I got multiple copies and all of them still skipped around at some point in the movie.
Speaking of funny skipping (sorta). I remember when my family first got a DVD player. One of the early movies we rented was Ausin Powers. In that movie, there is a scene where Austin goes back into the past. At the very moment that Austin Powers went back into the past, I accidently hit the restart button on the remote and the movie started over. I took me a few minutes to realize something was wrong because I didn't think they would replay the opening credits. It was funny. |
