I have a Sony Bravia, I have a ps3. The PQ is insanely good, absolutely loving it.
I also bought the optical cable for ps3, which from my understanding is to hook straight into speakers (is that right?) I am prepared to spend about $1500 on a speaker set up, and my question is twofold: 1. For $1500, what speaker set up would you recommend? 2. How should I set it up to take full advantage of BR? Should the optical go straight from ps3 to the speakers? And if so, does that mean the speakers won't work when I'm just watching television? Help! Oh, and should I even bother with optical? Argh! p.s. great forum here btw, been reading for a couple of months now - in Australia we have a very poor selection of BR's so I've been importing from the states (and even then there's only so many region-free br's!) and this place has been a huge help in deciding what to get.
