Default Help

I have a cheap Sylvania Blu Ray player. Inglorious Bastards will not play on it. It gets to after the warnings and the Universal logo, and then it just gives the loading signal.

How can I fix this? How do I update my firmware or disable BD Live?

Thanks

http://funai-corp.com/support/Firmwares.aspx

This link has the firmware updates for the various Sylvania and Magnavox models made by Funai (except the $78 Magnavox model from WalMart).

The firmware update can be downloaded directly, unzipped, and burned onto a CD or DVD. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully on powering on the player. My Sylvania NB501SL9 player would not recognize the update unless I powered on the player using the open/close tray button. The update procedure was very simple and I have never had a problem playing any BD or DVD.
