woh! just noticed all the amazon deals across the top of every page!

how often will the blu-rays change?

I'm not sure if I like it.. Can the banner be turned off in our site preferences section? Don’t see it there..

It will be automatically updated every 3min and will take into account (calculate) the newest deals/price drops, best prices, most popular titles etc, so it should display the most relevant deals close to real-time.

I think that its a great feature especially if you come here to find Blu-rays at the lowest price as well as help promote this website. So thank you for finding new ways for helping other people while also helping out the website.

Also, thank you for taking into consideration those that would like to have it turned off.

Will the deals acroos the top be amazon.com only or is there anyway to get something like an amazon.ca option.

Ok, you can now turn it off in the site settings section

But please try it out for a while, it updates close to real-time and automatically displays the best deals and according to our tests it produces very relevant deals.

Just click on the top-right flags to change country and it will update automatically

It highlighted the $8.99 price on 2001: A Space Odyssey for me, which caused me to buy it and Snow White (and get free shipping) for ~$20 total. I can see this increasing the traffic through this site to Amazon, which is good for all.

Being able to choose Amazon.co.uk is the only reason for me not to remove it, so thanks and keep up the good work!

However, I would like it if I were able to turn it off for the forum section. I mean... whenever I'm browsing the forums, I don't really care what movies are currently on sale, however on the front page when reading the news, I do care.

It looks weird but i'll try it for a few days to see if i get use to it.

I actually don't really like it and would prefer there was a way to make it disappear. Maybe a button could be added allowing the user to hide it.
