Smile Singularity

The Story :
Nate Renko, air force officer, is sent to investigate bizarre radiation emissions on an island (codenamed Katorga-12). He finds a TMD (time manipulation device) that adapts to his hand. There is a time anomaly on the island that makes it shift between 1950 and 2010. The origin is a special experiment led by the Russians after WW2 that went bad and a "singularity" caused the project to stop and the Russians buried all traces of it.

The Gameplay
:
It plays like a FPS (you see either the hand with the device or the gun), but you have "time control" powers :
- age revert : can be used on objects to transform them (repair a broken pathway, turn an iron fence into dust) ; on humans they turn into a primal state, attacking friends
- deadlock : cause a sphere where time slows radically : if you shoot enemies, they'll all get wounds/die when the sphere stops, can be used as shield to slow down bullets
- impulse : send pulse of energy, sending enemies flying, causes intagible enemies to become tangible (???)
- gravity : will hold an object in place (example : hold a grenade so that it never explodes)
- chronolight : a light that exists in both time periods, allowing to take an object in a time period and use it in another

As you can see many powers have non-combat utilities, most likely to solve ridles or access areas. the TMD can also be powered with "batteries" to have greater impact (restore a ruined ship) but effects can disappear.
So it looks somewhat like Bioshock for the use of weapons and powers, quite scary atmosphere. The story may not be great, but I trust Raven software who did awesome stories for X Men Legends 1 and 2, and X-Men origins : Wolverine wasn't too bad fo action.

Trailer

Here's some screens (some are quite old so the game could look better). You'll se a comics page, maybe it's used for the narration or there's a comics with the game?
