I'm looking to get either the X-Men Trilogy or Matrix Trilogoy box set soon. Both are about the same price, these days.
Going on Picture and Sound alone, which would be better purchase? |

Thanks for the input. I know The Matrix has all of those extras, even though I don't really watch them.
Of course this means I'll have to buy extra storage for my movies. |

Assuming you like both sets of movies equally I'd vote for X-men (but then I don't even care much for the 2nd & 3rd Matrix movies). X-men has a lot more variety in lighting and color palette. The Matrix films are darker and, even though they look great, they use unusual tinting to depict whether you are viewing the "Matrix" or the real world. As far as sound the Matrix movies may have an edge, but I'm not really sure. |
