Duel Shock 3 connection issues. - Blu-ray Forum

Is anybody having trouble with ps3 controllers connecting with the system? Every so often when I turn on the system the lights on the controller would just keep blinking. At least not until I plug in a USB cable. But after I remove the cable in would disconnect and start blinking again. Not even reseting the controller would work. I would have to turn off the ps3 while the controller's blinking then it would turn on and everything would be fine for a while. Now I'm not blaming the last system update but it did start after that.

a) its Dual
b) yes
c) restart the ps3 with the controller connected via the power button and turn it back on via the power button, then while the controller is plugged in hit ps button, once the light is on unplug and let it find itself...

well its only been out for a few hours now and no official claim but people have not had problems since the update....

the problem came with the last update, at least for me. Hopefully the new firmware clears it up.

That happened to me. I reset the controller while it was plugged in. There's a tiny hole on the back.
