I had a Omega Speedmaster made for NASA for 3 months, as a test. Then once I finished the certification I had to give it back.

I want those cool Japanese pimp watches. I want to save up for a used Rolex too.

I have a Tag somewhere at my parents house but it needs a new battery.

I've got the Omega Seamaster Professional Chronometer in blue that Pierce Brosnan wore in all of his Bond films (not the exact watch, of course, but exact model).

That is awesome!, I have always wanted to pick up a 007 edition Omega, especially the more recent ones (QOS/casino Royal) They really do look nice

I have a Timex Expedition... Got it at K-Mart.

I must have had it for over 10 years now. It's due for a new band which is perhaps it's 6th. I always use the expedition bands but since I take it off a lot the bands get worn over time. The indiglo thingie still works... (I often use it like a flashlight.)

I'll likely get a new band a K-Mart or maybe Target.

It takes a lickin and just keeps tickin.

It almost looks like this but the circle thing on mine isn't yellow it's just white.

Come to think of it, I haven't used a watch in like 15 years. Now with all portable devices having the time on display, I certainly won't be getting one anytime soon, and a good watch can be expensive to boot.

My wife bought me a Bulova Marine Star with a charcoal colored face when we were going out as a b-day gift...will never get rid of that watch!

(all these watches were bought on cruises to the Caribbean)
I've got:
Citizen Titanium Blue Angels Skyhawk (my daily wear watch - this thing has taken a beating since 2003 and is going strong - love the ECO-drive with the light charging)
Citizen Two-tone Aqualand Dive watch (the battery in this thing stinks, despite being ECO-drive and the service is super expensive!)
Citizen Calibre Perpetual Calendar with moon phase dial (cool watch)
Movado Faceto (aka Stainless Museum)
Tag Heuer Link Quartz Chronograph (sapphire colored face)
Breitling Colt Quartz (blue face) with steel bracelet

You guys are going to be a bad influence on me. I love watches for some inexplicable reason, but have been good and only bought my current Citizen Titanium Eco-Drive recently. I also don't seem to have the wrists to pull off some of the bigger watches.

Thanks. IMO, Tags are the best luxury sport watches. It's a very high-quality timepiece, it's heavy, the details are beautiful, and the dial doesn't scratch at all. I got the watch in early June and there isn't a single scratch on the dial.

Just curious, how much did you guys pay for your Tags? I mean I love watches but I think I would rather spend more on home theater than watches.

I'm not a "Collector" But I've owned two watches in my life (still own them)

A vintage solid 18k yellow gold Rolex Pres. from the early/mid 70's which I NEVER wear.... didn't even take it out of the safety deposit box for the wedding.

Also, a Stainless Rolex Submariner without the date-bubble (just didn't like the date bubble, and didn't want to pay for the sea dweller, although if I had to do it again, I would have sprung for the SD)

I got the gold one in H.S., and got the Sub my freshman year of college. So I guess the sub is 12 years old now, and I wear it every day, so not such a bad purchase. The Pres. is an investment.... nothing more... I won't wear yellow gold.... too flashy.

I like the fact that the MSRP on the Sub has gone up quite a bit, yet they have not redesigned it.... (the one with the green bezel a few years ago was cool though.... wish I had that)

EDIT:

If I needed a "Dress Watch" it'd be a Baume & Mercier more than likely

The retail for my Tag was $1600, but I haggled the jeweler down to $1200 without sales tax. I'm not as obsessed with tech as much as I used to be, so I've started buying nice dress clothes and accessories (Polo RL and Armani). I work for a lawyer, so I've gotta dress semi-professional. The only tech items I've bought since I started working are an iPod Classic and an FM transmitter, there's not really any more gadgets that I want to buy as of now.
