Default Games You'd Like To See On PS3

I guess there are no real rules to what you would like to see, so whether it's an old game (PS2, PS1, or even older) that you'd like to see a new version of, or a game from that other system you'd like to see ported over, or a game that doesn't even exist (other than in your head), post whatever game you'd like to see here.

I'll start.

Earlier today it was snowing outside, and for whatever reason, I was reminded of SSX and how fun those games actually were.

So I'd really like to see a PS3 version of SSX.

I know DJ Atomika hinted at it in Burnout Paradise, but as far as I know, there's nothing official about a current-gen SSX being made (unless you count SSX Blur on the Wii).

Crap, I think I might go play SSX Tricky now.

SSX no question. It was the game that made me fall in love with my PS2 and I have always wanted that same feeling again.

I would also like to see SOTC and ICO (I missed it the first time around) with the same treatment as GOW collection.

Final Fantasy IV, VI, VII, VIII, X. Well maybe not X but the other 4 would look amazing with new graphics and such.

All the Myst games on one blu ray discs, remastered in high definition at 1080p video, reanimated HD video clips and lossless 7.1 audio with restored, remastered audio bits, and mouse support.

Counter Strike: Source on the PS3 also with 1080p gameplay, 7.1 lossless audio, mouse and keyboard support and access to the steam PC servers. Also a special 2.35:1 widescreen mode for CIH users.

Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People (SBCG4AP), all the epidsodes remaster in 1080p, lossless audio, mouse.

Those were two of my other ideas (SotC in particular). The GOW treatment would be great, and hopefully get a whole new batch of people to appreciate the game.

Playstation store finally got the games I always loved:
Silent Hill
RE 1 and 2
Metal Gear Solid

Now we just need some PS2 games and I'm a happy camper.

I'd like to see:

After Sony launches their Wand:
World of Goo (PC, Wii). I'd love to play this game with a sensible pointing device.

Star Wars Trilogy (arcade). Light saber fight with Darth Vader without that retarded joystick? Yes, please.

Final Fantasy X (PS2) HD Remix. Oh, and fix that horrible laughing scene with Yuna and Tidus while they're at it.

Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) / Ico (PS2). C'mon Sony, you gave us God of War Collection. Give us Ico/SotC HD Remix before The Last Guardian. Pretty please?

Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360, PC). Why has this not been mentioned yet? For shame! I'll be buying this on PC, but it'd be nice to earn some trophies too.

UN Squadron (arcade, SNES). I love sidescrolling shooters, and this one is arguably the best one ever made. Honestly, there's nothing quite like working for the U.N. and blowing up cities around the globe and leaving smoking craters visible from space while you're trying to "liberate" them... . Update some graphics and give me online multiplayer.

Ikaruga (PS2, Xbox 360). Bullet hell shooters don't get much better than Ikaruga unless you're one of those masochists that like Mushishihimesama.

Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC). Yeah, yeah, Valve/Gabe Newell hate the PS3. This is a wishlist, and it's allowed.

That'd be a cool idea. I only got to play that game once, when I was at an arcade somewhere in Atlantic City, and then I never saw it again.

I forgot all about the wand thing, and hope that it ends up being successful enough for companies to incorporate it into bigger games.

I'm just worried that it will suffer like any other optional peripheral, and not get used much.

Imagine if a PS3 shipped with a PSEye and the wand, how much it'd be used, since developers know everyone has them.

Hopefully Sony steps up and makes some sort of "must-have" game that uses the wand, so that everyone will be convinced to go buy one.
