Got any? Post 'em!
(As noted on blu-ray.com homepage), .com's Criterion sale is worth a look. If you buy in bundles (which is highly recommended when ordering from .com), you can save $10-15 a movie. |

Huh? Amazon.com ships blu-rays to Canada, unless you're talking about something else.

Wow thanks for the great advice. I guess I live in a parallel universe since I have got 100+ shipments from amazon.com to me in Canada over the years.

I've been ordering the odd shipment from Amz.com once or twice a year since 1999. Part of the appeal of Amz, be it US/UK/Fr/Ca, is that they all ship worldwide...
Any who... Ordered a number of Criterion BDs. Since Fear And Loathing was only 24 from Amz.ca, I actually ordered it from there instead. From Amz.com though I ordered Army Of Shadows, Topsy-Turvy, Blow Out, Broadcast News, Le Cercle Rouge, and Au revoir les enfants. |

Yeah, I never order from .ca anyway!
Amazon has ALWAYS shipped worldwide. That's the appeal. |

Not changed in the past year, no... Amazon.com has shipped to Canada for MANY years. There are a few items that they cannot sell/ship to Canadians (Atlantic racking for example), since some of those items ship directly from the manufacturer, & its at their discretion. If you had an issue with them not shipping a blu-ray or movie to you, it sounds like you dealt with someone in their marketplace.

100% agreed bud. ive ordered a TONS from .uk NEVER ONCE from .com cuz their shipping + import fees bullshit negates any savings. i usually find everything i want on the trading forums anyway.

The 3 times that I've ordered from .com in the last two years were only because of a Criterion deal. Like everyone else, usually the shipping and duty negate most savings. What's sad is that not only is shipping cheaper from .uk, it arrives here faster than .com. WTF...

I took advantage of buy 3 save $20 deal as well (except Bambi was $12.99 at the time and I chose BATB rather than Tangled). I also added Megamind and HTTYD to the order. It all came out to just under $80 after credit card fees etc. Not too bad but the shipping is a killer on most deals. The favourable exchange rate is making some deals attractive but I buy more from the UK. I've also noticed from recent experience that import fees are typically reimbursed (fully for my last two orders).

I ordered two Criterions from the sale, and it came to $54.58. Yeah sure, it's a giant buzz kill when shipping and "import fees" are >$14, but hey... at least it's cheaper than every where else that wants $32 - $44 per Criterion.
