trying to decide if I should hold out on buying the dvd for the animated series

also alongside it the batman animated dvds?

Are you referring to the one from the 90's. If so I would say just buy the DVDs of them. At the moment the only one I can see possibly coming to Blu anytime soon is Wolverine and the X-men after they release the entire first season on DVD

I think thats asking a little too much and I don't ever see it happening but the original 90's show would be great to have on blu-ray.
